Air Source Heat Pumps
Clean, efficient heating — for any UK home.
Air source heat pumps extract heat from the air outside to warm your home and hot water. They are up to 4× more efficient than a gas boiler — and can be installed with a government grant of up to £7,500.
The benefits
Why switch to a heat pump?
Heat pumps are the heating system of the future — and with government grants now available, the upfront cost has never been lower.
- Dramatically lower carbon footprint vs gas boiler
- Eligible for the Boiler Upgrade Scheme (up to £7,500)
- Works in temperatures as low as -20°C
- Heats both radiators and underfloor heating
- Provides domestic hot water
- Compatible with solar PV and battery storage
How does it work?
An air source heat pump absorbs heat from outside air — even at temperatures as low as -20°C — and uses it to heat your home via radiators, underfloor heating or a warm air system. A separate unit also provides domestic hot water.
Is my home suitable?
Most UK homes are suitable for a heat pump. We carry out a full property assessment to confirm suitability and size the system correctly for your heat demand. Good insulation improves performance, but is not always a prerequisite.
Boiler Upgrade Scheme
The UK government's BUS grants up to £7,500 towards a new air source heat pump. We handle all the paperwork and deduct the grant from your installation cost.
